Tech company Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is going to launch its new smartphone series Redmi K90 today in its home market China. It will include Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. The Redmi K90 Pro Max features a special back camera setup along with Bose speakers. The company has made the product page of the series live on its official website. The launch event will take place at 4:30 PM Indian time.
The company will live stream the event on its website and Redmi web page. Both phones will come with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. According to leaks, the K90 Pro Max could feature the brand’s largest ever 7500mAh battery. This smartphone will support 100W fast charging technology, along with which 50W wireless charging technology may also be provided.
Similarly, the Redmi K90 5G will get a 7000mAh battery. These phones will come to the Indian market under the POCO brand. Redmi K90 Smartphone Series: Specifications Display: The Redmi K90 may feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1440x 3200 pixels resolution, which will support a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K90 Pro may feature a 6.82-inch OLED display with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution, which will support a 144Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. Camera: For photos and videos, the Redmi K90 Pro Max may feature a 50-megapixel LYT950 OIS camera.
Along with this, the triple camera setup will also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto sensor. Performance: The Redmi K90 Pro Max 5G phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship mobile processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It is built with 3Nm technology and features an 8-core Oryon CPU, which can deliver clock speeds ranging from 3.63GHz to 4.6GHz.
It also includes a Snapdragon X85 5G modem, which will provide fast internet and better 5G connectivity. RAM and Storage: Recently, these phones have appeared on the benchmarking site Geekbench, where they were listed with 16GB RAM. This could be its highest variant. The base model might get 12GB RAM.
Regarding storage, the base variant could get 256GB and the top variant up to 1TB of space. The Redmi K90 will also get the same storage options.
