The platform has introduced a Watch History feature for Reels something TikTok and YouTube have had for a while. Now, every video you watch is saved in a chronological list, making it easy to find the clips you accidentally skipped or forgot to save. You can filter your watch history by date, past week, month, or creator, and even remove Reels you no longer want to see. Access it easily through these steps below: 1. Open Instagram and tap on your Profile icon. 2. Now look for the Hamburger icon from the top-right corner of the screen. 3. Under Settings and activity, tap on Your Activity. 4. Scroll to the bottom and tap on Watch history. Why this matters: It’s not the most original idea, but for Instagram, which has been racing to catch up with TikTok and YouTube in the short video space, it’s a welcome upgrade. Now, you can scroll freely without the fear of losing that must-see clip.
