Tech company Realme is going to launch a new flagship smartphone, Realme GT8 Pro, in India on November 20 in the mid-budget range. The phone’s launch event will start at 12 PM. The phone features powerful performance, premium design, a high-end display, and an advanced camera system. The company claims that this will be the most advanced Realme phone to date, offering a professional-grade experience in both photography and gaming. The smartphone will be equipped with a 200MP telephoto camera and a 7000mAh battery. The company recently launched the Realme GT8 Pro in 5 storage variants in its home market, China. There, its starting price is 2899 Yuan (approximately ₹35,850). In India, it could be launched at a starting price of ₹35,000. Four Special Features of Realme GT 8 Pro The Realme GT 8 Pro smartphone is equipped with features like GT Boost 3.0, Symmetric Master Acoustic Speakers, Ultra Haptic Motor, and IP69 rating. Design: 3 Color Options with Customisable Camera Rings Realme has paid special attention to the design of the GT8 series. The GT8 Pro features a mechanical assembly design, meaning the camera deco parts can be changed. You can customise the camera rings according to your preference. The phone will come with two color options. These include Dairy White and Urban Blue colors. The Dairy White color will have a frosted glass back, while the Urban Blue will feature a paper-like leather finish. The phone features a matte metal frame and a smooth curved body transition. This phone is only 7.8mm thin and weighs around 214 grams.
Realme GT8 Pro: Specifications 1. Display: Realme GT8 Pro will feature a 6.79-inch display with 2K resolution, operating at a 144Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 7000 nits, ensuring the screen is clear even in bright sunlight. This display will come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, capable of unlocking the phone in just 0.07 seconds. The company will introduce it with industry-leading eye protection technology, preventing eye fatigue even during prolonged use. 2. Performance: The company has confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature the world’s fastest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is built on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process technology. The company states that this processor will provide 20% faster CPU, 23% better GPU, and 33% more CPU efficiency. The phone will have 37% increased AI power and 16% improved AI efficiency. 3. Camera: Speaking of the camera, Realme has partnered with Ricoh Imaging, known for its premium GR camera series. The GT8 Pro features a camera system inspired by the Ricoh GR series, which includes a high-transparency lens group that improves both color and clarity. The GT8 Pro features a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera, which supports 3x optical and 6x lossless zoom.
Along with it, there is a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Meanwhile, the GT8 has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens. For selfies and video recording, the GT8 Pro features a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor on the front, which supports AI Beauty Mode and 4K recording. Meanwhile, the GT8 comes with a 16MP selfie camera. Regarding camera features, it includes modes like GR Mode, Snap Mode, Classic Filters, HDR 2.0, and Pro Nightscape. For video, Dolby Vision and AI Motion Capture support are also available. 4. Power Backup: Speaking of battery and charging, the Realme GT8 Pro features a 7000mAh second-generation Titan battery. For charging the phone, 120W SuperVOOC and 50W wireless charging are provided. The company claims that this phone charges up to 45% in just 10 minutes and the battery life will last up to 1600 charging cycles. 5. OS and Security: Realme GT8 Pro will run on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. It features a Sky Communication System and Sky Signal Chip S1, which provides 25% better signal even in weak networks. The phone supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and 21 global 5G bands. For security, it has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.
