Tech company Oppo has launched the Diwali Edition of Reno 14 in the Indian market. This is the first smartphone in India with Glowshift color-changing technology. Oppo has launched it in a single variant of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Its price is Rs 39,999, but during the festive season, it can be purchased for Rs 36,999. First phone with heat-sensitive Glowshift color-changing technology The phone comes with color and design technology. In this, you will see golden mandala-style artwork and a beautiful design of a golden peacock on the bottom left corner. Oppo has named this new color option Diwali Gold. The special thing is that the company has used heat-sensitive Glowshift color-changing technology, due to which the mobile’s back panel changes color according to the body temperature. This technology has been brought to India for the first time. This feature has been developed with 6 complex processes, 3 superimposed layers, and 9-layer lamination technology. It can change color at least 10,000 times. The phone is 7.42mm thin and weighs 187 grams. The display bezels are 1.6mm ultra-thin, which are quite slim. The rear camera setup is R-shaped. Two lenses are vertical and the third is in a capsule-shaped ring, below which there is a triple LED flash. The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 water-dust resistance ratings, meaning it will be safe from dust, water, and even high-pressure water. In terms of specifications, they are similar to the standard model of Reno 14.

Along with this, there is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto lens, which supports 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, a 50MP camera is provided. In daylight, photos come out sharp and colorful, especially in portrait mode where background blur works well. The 120X digital zoom captures distant objects, but the detail is average. In 4K 60FPS video, AI audio focus reduces noise, but stabilization can be a bit shaky. In Night mode, there is noise and loss of detail in dark areas, while telephoto zoom quality drops beyond 3.5x. Ultra-wide shots provide wide coverage, but blur is visible at the edges. Selfies are clear in bright light, but overexposure can occur in low light. Overall, it’s fine for social media and daytime use, but limited for pro photography. Operating System: The Oppo Reno 14 smartphone runs on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. The new version of ColorOS will provide users with a clean, smooth, and customizable interface. The Oppo Reno 14 smartphone features several AI-powered photo editing tools, including Object Eraser, Recompose, Best Face, Perfect Shot, Reflection Remover, and others. These tools allow users to edit photos in a better and more professional manner.
